IR - Our Write-a-Book Project

We just delivered a box full of books created by the students in our school to our local education centre. This was a fun project, where every student became an author and published a book! There were books about everything - from princesses to aliens. Even the youngest children in the school created a book. Now the books have gone to another school, so that they can read and enjoy them. They will return them to us when they have finished. We will also be getting a box of books that children in another school have created. We look forward to reading them too. Our Comenius Partnership

We are a partnership of six countries - Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Lithuania and Wales. We have a project called Six Pieces of the Eurojigsaw. We began in October 2007 and will continue until August 2009.Our partnership involves schools in each of the countries. We are exploring the culture and traditions of each of our partner countries.Our first project was to create a Culture Box for our own country which would help the students of the other countries to explore aspects of our language and traditions.The boxes arrived in each school in late December. It was exciting for the children to open each box and explore the contents.
